James is the founder and owner of Nickell Business Coaching based in Kiama Downs. James and Nickell specialise in providing coaching, mentoring and training solutions for teams and leaders utilising a high-performance methodology supported by human brain science. Through individually tailored development programs James is able to engender high-performance cultures and team environments renowned for delivering outstanding results and happy places in which to work. Nickell’s clients include the very large corporates as well as local small businesses including several examples close to us here in Kiama. James is accredited in the HBDI psychometric profiling tool and during lockdown acquired a post graduate degree in applied coaching psychology all in the name of the work that he loves.

James is married to Nichola and live in Kiama Downs having moved to the south coast over ten years ago having originally emigrated from England back in 2008. James and Nick have two grown-up children, Eliot who is a professional gaming coach and Ellie a teacher in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. When not helping transform businesses James can often be found at the golf course, on his boat at The Basin or simply walking around Kiama Downs with Nick and dog Maggie.
