The Illawarra Flame

The Illawarra Flame is an independent community media co. with a name inspired by a local tree. The magazine is a voice for volunteers, sustainability, small biz and the arts that is published in print and digital. The Illawarra Flame began 10 years ago as a small hyper-local title in the northern Illawarra. Today it is delivered free to 11,000 letterboxes, libraries and local businesses each month and a new southern print edition launched in 2024. Unique digital editions are free on Fridays, delivered to email inboxes across the Illawarra.
